Chris Pert and Wu Jing star in the western remake of Saigon Bodyguards

After agreeing with Universal, Chris Pert and Wu Jing are set to star in the western remake of Saigon Bodyguards, produced by the Rousseau brothers

In the latest  movie and TV news , a Western remake based on Vietnam-based Saigon Bodyguards is being made, with the first cast identified. Chris Pert and Wu Jing are set to star in the English-language version of the action comedy being produced by Universal Pictures. Wu Jing, a popular Chinese actor, is set to star in Hollywood after the commercial success of Wolf Warrior.

Anthony and Joe Rousseau, who previously starred with Chris Pert in Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: Infinity War, will co-produce the remake of Saigon Bodyguards. The film is based on a Vietnamese film released in 2016, which follows the story of two bodyguards who must find the heir to a company that was abducted hours before their eyes.  Alex Gregory and Peter Hyuk will write the screenplay for the remake of Saigon Bodyguards.
