Turkey’s Oscar-nominated film that broaches the subject of the daughter of a father seeking justice with the same mental age.

In the movie, a little girl dies in the Aegean town in 1983. The deceased little girl is the daughter of the martial law commander and the responsible for her death is “Memo”, a 7-year-old daughter who lives with her grandmother.

Nobody believes him, even though Memo explains that he is not guilty. While the relatives of Memo, who was sentenced to death, struggle for justice, the only thing Memo and his daughter Ova want is to be together.

Will Memo be able to escape the death penalty by a miracle?
