Tenet” Is Coming To Blu-Ray Next Month

At long last, the masses will be able to see Christopher Nolan’s latest in about a month. Yes, earlier today there was a press release put out by Warner Bros. announcing when Tenet would be coming to homes. Officially, December 15th is when the film will be available on 4K, Blu-ray, and Digital Video On Demand. The movie obviously is still playing in theaters, but with no signs that Los Angeles or New York City will see cinemas opening soon, this seems like the right call by WB. Nolan fans will get to finally see the flick, no one is put at risk, and the company can continue to try and make some money back on it. All in all, everyone seems to win here with this choice…

Here’s the press release, making the Tenet announcement:

Burbank, CA, November 5 – “Tenet,” the must-see motion picture event, playing now on the big screen wherever theatres are open, will arrive on 4K, Blu Ray, DVD and Digital on December 15 in time for the holidays. Written, directed and produced by acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan (“Inception,” “Dunkirk”), “Tenet” opened globally beginning in August 2020 and has grossed $350 million to date, with the much-anticipated theatrical openings in the major markets of New York and Los Angeles still to come. “Tenet” will be available to preorder from digital and physical retailers beginning November 10.

“Tenet” features an international ensemble cast led by John David Washington (“BlacKkKlansman,” TV’s “Ballers”) as the Protagonist. The film also stars Robert Pattinson (the “Twilight” films, “The Lighthouse,” upcoming “The Batman”), Elizabeth Debicki (“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” “The Great Gatsby”), Dimple Kapadia (“Angrezi Medium”), Martin Donovan (“Ant-Man,” “Fahrenheit 451”), Fiona Dourif (“Cult of Chucky”), Yuri Kolokolnikov (“The Hitman’s Bodyguard”), Himesh Patel (“Yesterday”), Clémence Poésy (“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (“The Avengers: Age of Ultron”), with Michael Caine (“Inception,” “The Cider House Rules,” “The Dark Knight”) and Kenneth Branagh (“Dunkirk,” “Murder on the Orient Express”).

The film was produced by Emma Thomas and Nolan. Thomas Hayslip served as executive producer.

Nolan’s behind-the-scenes creative team included director of photography Hoyte van Hoytema, production designer Nathan Crowley, editor Jennifer Lame, costume designer Jeffrey Kurland, visual effects supervisor Andrew Jackson and special effects supervisor Scott Fisher. The score is composed by Ludwig Göransson.

Armed with only one word—Tenet—and fighting for the survival of the entire world, the Protagonist (John David Washington) journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real time. Not time travel. Inversion.

“Tenet” 4K UHD Combo Pack and Blu-ray contain the following special features:

Looking at the World in a New Way: The Making of “Tenet” – An hour-long exploration of the development and production of the film as told by the cast and crew.

International Communications

It is the wish of every artist for a moment to share their own feelings with other people. I am honored to work with the amerta team to help international artists pursue their passion and get more feedback from the art world. As a freelancer, I would say that turning an idea into a work of art involves a journey of experimentation. This incredible progress, which the public rarely notices, is essential for me. I want to help the local artists connect with the world so that they are seen more and experience gratitude to be motivated to live their creativity.

Artists have always had the task of making the world a little better. With the Amerta Art Film Festival, we want to allow creative people to send their unique message to the world and to create a connection. A different kind of connection that is formed in the heart, especially in difficult times of Corona. With my expertise and experience, I will help artists to be heard. For this purpose, I am the mentor and advisor of the whole team.”

about the festival in our future posts

Hello to all our supporters and interested people. It has been quiet in our corner for quite some time now, we apologize for that, we needed the time to get organized and do some important tasks. To expand our activities and events, we have decided to move our Iranian location to Turkey. Our headquarters in Germany will continue to exist. Thanks to the support of our employees and our network of moderators, collectors and the galleries in Istanbul has now taken a new and exciting direction. We will continue to support young, up-and-coming talented artists internationally, and in addition to our efforts in the performing arts, we will now organize festivals. Our mission is to award artists for their work and, at the same time, introduce them to a broad audience. The first Amerta Art Festival is about the art of filmmaking and will be held in Istanbul in 2021. We hope that your interest has been awakened and look forward to your feedback. We will keep you informed about the festival in our future posts.
